About our current programs

We currently deliver programs on behalf of the Australian Government and Queensland Government that support the sustainability of Queensland primary producers, small businesses and their communities. Our current programs include:

Rural Financial Counselling Service (RFCS) Program

This program, delivered through our RFCS Southern Queensland brand, provides free, impartial and confidential financial counselling to primary producers who are experiencing or at risk of financial hardship.

Delivered since 2006

We have proudly delivered the RFCS Program consecutively for nearly 20 years

Primary producers

Supporting farmers, fishers, foresters and small related enterprises

Southern Queensland

Currently available in all 34 Local Government Areas in Southern Queensland

Government funded

Funded by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry; and Queensland Department of Primary Industries

Small Business Financial Counselling Service (SBFCS) Program

This program, delivered through our SBFCS Southern Queensland brand, provides free, impartial and confidential financial counselling to small businesses who are experiencing or at risk of financial hardship.

Delivered since 2020

We have proudly delivered the SBFCS program for over 5 years, since it was first established

Small businesses

Supporting small businesses in both regional and metro areas

Southern Queensland

Currently available in all 34 Local Government Areas in Southern Queensland

Government funded

Funded by the Queensland Government and jointly-funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA)

Business Wellness Coaching (BWC) Program

This program, delivered through both our RFCS Southern Queensland and SBFCS Southern Queensland brands, provides free and confidential emotional coaching and wellbeing support to rural and small business owners.

We have proudly delivered the BWC program for over 3 year, since it was first established

Farm Business Resilience Planning (FBRP) Program

This program, delivered through our RSQ brand, provides free, impartial and confidential resilience planning support to primary producers.

Supporting all producers (livestock, cropping, dairy and horticulture)

Southern Queensland

Currently available in all 34 Local Government Areas in Southern Queensland

Government funded

Jointly funded through the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund and Queensland Government’s Drought and Climate Adaptation Program

Industry Recovery and Resilience (IRR) Program

This program, delivered through our RSQ brand, provides free, impartial and confidential disaster preparedness support to primary producers.

Delivered since 2025

We have proudly delivered the IRR program for over 6 months since it was first established

Southern Queensland

Currently available in Maranoa, South Burnett, Southern Downs, Toowoomba and Western Downs

Jointly funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA)
