About Louise Winten
Louise commenced as Board Director in November 2022 and provides community engagement, advocacy and rural business expertise to our Board. She works with our CEO and Board to deliver professional, efficient and effective service delivery outcomes for rural and small business sectors.
Born and raised in South West Queensland, Louise has strong community connections to the area and is an active member of numerous community groups.
Louise lives north of Morven, with her husband and 3 children where they run a cattle, sheep and goat enterprise. They also have a property south of Morven in the Mulga Belt.
Louise has been involved in Local, State and Federal level positions with the Isolated Children’s Parent’s Association (ICPA) and is very involved in many local organisations. Louise Chairs the South West Stakeholder Network in Charleville and is a committee member on the RADF Murweh Shire Committee. She is also a Board Director with Southern Queensland Landscapes NRM.
She is passionate about ensuring regional areas remain vibrant and thrive in the good times, whilst preparing for what the future may bring.
Louise has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course, has a Diploma in Agribusiness Management and is a JP.
