About Ros Heit
Rosamund (Ros) commenced as Board Director in November 2021 and provides governance, engagement and government relations expertise to our Board. She works with our CEO and Board to deliver professional, efficient and effective service delivery outcomes for rural and small business sectors.
Ros, English born, has lived near Wooroolin in the South Burnett for over 30 years with her husband, on their property where they raised their three children, who have now flown the nest.
She has a range of experiences from being Area Manager of UnitingCare, a board member of a large superannuation fund and currently a Local Government Councillor, Chair of the local radio CROW FM and member of the Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation (BIEDO). Ros has always lived in rural communities and been involved in supporting people, businesses and communities to grow and thrive.
Ros has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from London; Bachelor of Business from the University of Southern Queensland and is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
