About Simone Parker
Simone commenced as Board Director in May 2020 and provides strategy, business and commercial expertise to our Board. She works with our CEO and Board to deliver professional, efficient and effective service delivery outcomes for rural and small business sectors.
Simone’s long-standing connection to regional areas is the driving force behind her interest in progressing opportunities in rural communities and agricultural industries.
With over 25 years in the agriculture industry, Simone’s career has been focused on extension, business improvement and natural resource management.
In 2023, Simone joined Bush Agribusiness full-time as Senior Consultant for Northern Australia. She took on this role after working as a part-time Associate with Bush Agribusiness in the areas of business planning and training including the Business EDGE course.
For several years, Simone was Chief Executive Officer at CHRRUP Limited (Central Highlands Regional Resources Use Planning Co-operative) in Emerald. This role also incorporated Company Secretary responsibilities.
Simone holds a Bachelor of Business (Agricultural Commerce) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
